PT. Bangun Karya Perkasa Jaya Tbk, a leading national construction company has specialized in general contractors and steel fabrication is highly committed to implementing OHS and Environmental aspects in every workplace. One of our proudest projects is at PT Cargill Indonesia, Amurang. In this project, the construction of Copra Warehouse (dried coconut meat) is underway to support the plan to increase production capacity and expand the factory area. The project, which started on November 1, 2021, has now reached 100,000 Safe Manhours without Reportable Injury. An honor for PT. BKPJ Tbk. become part of the Tuna Project and participate in creating a safe work process. This event is a good achievement for the Construction Project. on next Thursday, September 1, 2022, in conjunction with the “Topping Out Ceremony” (Laying of the First Steel Rafter) PT. BKPJ, this achievement was celebrated together with the entire Project Team.
Safe Manhours is one of the references in the strategy to achieve the Zero Accident target. The project has been running for more than 100,000 hours without LTI (Lost Time Incident) or LTA (Lost Time Accident) – loss of work time due to work Incidents or accidents. The higher the Safe Manhours number, the better. The zero accident rate proves that the Company and its employees have implemented Occupational Health and Safety Management (K3) properly, preventing unsafe acts and conditions, and creating a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment.
This achievement adds to the list of achievements received by PT. BKPJ 2022. Implementation of OHS and Environment is a commitment from the authorities of the Company which has been developed since 2016. Implementation of OHS and Environmental Management System at PT BKPJ Tbk. has been certified to ISO 45001:2018 (formerly OHSAS 18001), ISO 14001:2015, and SMK3 (PP No. 50 of 2012) from the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia with Gold Level.
