PT BKPJ Tbk. Grab a Champion at the EHS Event - ZERO HARM WEEK 2022

PT Bangun Karya Perkasa Jaya Tbk. as a National Company engaged in Construction and Steel Fabrication sector, had continued moving forward and making innovations to carve achievements. PT BKPJ Tbk. have a high commitment to implementing EHS culture in all work areas. October 28th, 2022, in order of The Youth Pledge Day Celebration, BKPJ Citizens reach another EHS achievement in The Event of EHS Month celebration held by PT Cargill Indonesia. This event is known as Zero Harm Week (ZHW) 2022.
The ZHW 2022 event is an annual global event held by all companies under PT Cargill Indonesia. PT BKPJ Tbk. which currently has 2 (two) active projects at Cargill, participated in enlivening the ZHW 2022 event. The celebrations were held simultaneously at the end of October 2022. The ZHW was enlivened by several social activities and safety competitions. Some of the activities held include Blood Donation, and several competitions such as Good Housekeeping, EHS Jingle, SIF (Severity, Injury, Fatality) Elimination Poster, ZHW Selfies, EHS Innovative Idea, Lifesavers Quiz, APAR Usage Competition, Full Body Harness Usage Competition.
In our project at PT Pacrim Nusantara Lestari Food otherwise known as the Cargill Zulu Project, the ZHW 2022 was held on 20 – 27 October 2022. PT BKPJ Tbk. keep up with all the competitions — the winner announcement held at the final event on Friday, October 28, 2022. BKPJ Citizen was awarded The Most Outstanding EHS for Commitment to Safety Implementation and third place in the Lifesavers Quiz Contest.
In our project at PT Cargill Indonesia – Copra Crushing Plant, Amurang which is known as the Cargill Tuna Project, the ZHW 2022 was held on October 24 – 28, 2022. Of all the competitions that PT BKPJ Tbk participated in, BKPJ Citizen has succeeded in getting 2nd place in the use of APAR competition and 3rd place in the Lifesavers Quiz.
Competition activities had carried out on the sidelines of project activities. The rapid schedule of the project did not reduce the enthusiasm and motivation of BKPJ citizens to participate and reach achievements in EHS. It is an honor for our corporate to participate in enlivening and winning the competition held by our corporate client. This achievement motivates us to stay developed and innovative so we can get better at creating a safe work environment and OHS culture in the workplace.
